Olympia Post Office employees established Olympia Federal Employees Credit Union in 1965. The organization was established to proudly serve Federally employed or Federally retired individuals living in Thurston County.
We have grown from transactions out of a shoebox to two branches to serve our Members. We have expanded the eligibility to proudly serve anyone living or working in Washington State.
If you live, work, or go to school within Washington State you are eligible to join.
To help protect you from Identity Theft, and help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. We support all efforts to protect and maintain the security of our members and our country.
To open an account you may come in and see us or download the membership application below. Have your completed application notarized and send it along with a current clear copy of your picture ID and a minimum deposit of $25.00.

Your application is subject to approval prior to opening and we will confirm your open account by phone. We will also send you a “New Member” package that will have all the necessary disclosures and more information about all the great services we can provide you.
